Reading Audiograms created by Noah compatible audiometers HIMSA has become aware of an issue where the Genie software may present a message “Genie has a problem and must close,” when opening the most recent audiogram that was saved into Noah via a Noah compatible audiometer. This issue is being addressed by Oticon.

Genie Backup Manager Pro is a powerful yet easy to use backup. The App works with the intermediate device Streamer Pro (with firmware 1.3A or later) The App combines remote control features for Oticon Hearing Instruments with an intuitive visual interface to the ConnectLine system, which connects users wirelessly to Cell Phones, remote microphones, TV sound transmitters, etc.HIMSA will update this support issue when new information becomes available. In the meantime it is possible to work around the issue by using the HIMSA supplied Audiogram module (either the Noah 4 Audiogram module or NOAHaud3) to manually create a new audiogram.
