I guess you could say we were born into Country and raised on Antiques. The country home where my sister and I spent our first 18 plus years was located just outside of our small hometown of Doylestown, PA in beautiful Bucks County. The partially paved side street that we lived on had just a handful of homes and our house sat beside a wide meadow, a farmer’s fields, and a wooded hillside.

My name is Andrew Cohen, and this will be my third year teaching at Raritan High School. I attended Ocean High School, Flager College for my undergrad degree, and Monmouth University for my grad degree. I bring a varied backgroud to the classroom that includes both journalism and technology.
This year I will be teaching AP U.S. Government and Politics, 21st Century Civics, and Criminal Justice. Each class will attempt to provide a macro view of the topics and questions being covered. We will be using a litany of 21st century tools to expand our knowledge on these topics, and I like to use my experience in other fields to help curate content that allows the students to immerse themselves in the topics on their own terms.In my down time I enjoy surfing and attempting to broaden my knowledge in regard to topics that pique my interest.
